Since 1990, Hitek has focused on bringing specialized equipment solutions to the North American market. What began as a company serving the corrugated industry has evolved into a growing construction equipment and recycling solutions partner supporting customers across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Today, Hitek represents innovative equipment manufacturers from around the world while providing the parts, training, service, and long-term support needed to keep customers operating efficiently.

Hitek was founded in 1990 by the Wightman family with a simple goal: bring unique, high-quality machinery to North America while standing behind the equipment long after the sale. The company originally focused on the corrugated industry, specializing in the sale, installation, and support of advanced die cutting equipment from Japan.

In 2012, Hitek was introduced to the MG Mini Paver line. That partnership marked the beginning of Hitek’s expansion into the road construction industry and opened the door to a new generation of compact paving solutions for municipalities, utility contractors, and asphalt professionals across North America.

Over the years, Hitek has continued building partnerships with respected manufacturers outside the North American market, helping introduce specialized equipment solutions backed by Hitek’s reputation for service and support.

In 2024, CAMS acquired the MG Mini Paver line, further strengthening the growing relationship between Hitek and CAMS. Following years of collaboration, Hitek officially expanded its partnership with CAMS to represent additional recycling and shredding equipment throughout North America. The partnership was publicly announced during CONEXPO in Las Vegas in March 2026 and continues to support the growth of advanced recycling and material processing solutions across the market.

In 2025, Hitek transitioned to new ownership under longtime employees Ryan Ashley and Brian Johnson, continuing the company’s commitment to customer relationships, technical expertise, and long-term support.

Pavijet Mini Pavers

Hitek proudly represents the Pavijet line of compact mini pavers designed for utility restoration, patching, bike paths, sidewalks, trench work, and other specialty asphalt applications.

The Pavijet product line continues to grow throughout North America by helping contractors and municipalities improve efficiency, reduce labor demands, and complete difficult paving projects in areas where larger equipment is not practical.

CAMS Recycling & Shredding Equipment

Through its partnership with CAMS, Hitek provides advanced shredding and recycling solutions designed for asphalt, aggregates, construction debris, and difficult material processing applications.

CAMS equipment combines innovative engineering with compact, versatile designs that help contractors and recyclers improve productivity while reducing material waste.

At Hitek, support does not stop after delivery.
